Applewood Manor‘s most private lodging option is The Cortland Cottage. This suite is separate from the main house by just thirty feet and offers its own private parking spot. Well behaved pets are welcome in this suite (subject to the inn’s policies and for an extra fee). Located in the same neighborhood as 1900 Inn on Montford, they are both just a few miles from America’s largest privately owned residence, the Biltmore Estate.
John Rutledge House Inn (Charleston, SC)
Bring your dog along to the pet-friendly John Rutledge House Inn and treat your pup to the full Charleston experience with a room in our beautiful Carriage House, and some special gifts. Their “A Dog’s World Package” includes a $30 gift card to Brown Dog Deli and a Pawty Poop Bag and leash. The inn offers dog-friendly accommodations for an additional fee of $40 per day. Since their dog-friendly rooms are limited; they request that guests contact their (24-hour a day) concierge directly to reserve this room.
The Pecan Tree Inn (Beaufort, NC)
A stay at The Pecan Tree Inn is the perfect opportunity to explore the Crystal Coast region of North Carolina. The Harbor Room was named after the Beaufort Yacht Harbor. This Deluxe King room has views of the garden patio and Koi pond, relax with a comfortable seating area. This room has a semi-private porch, with a separate entrance from the main house. Guests traveling with dogs stay in this room (with no more than two dogs allowed). Pet stays do require a non-refundable cleaning fee.
The Black Walnut Bed & Breakfast Inn (Asheville, NC)
The Black Walnut Bed and Breakfast Inn has a Carriage House with two ground-floor pet-friendly accommodations, including kitchenettes. The Camellia Suite and the ADA-accessible Magnolia Suite, each provide private entrances which offer immediate access to the outdoor areas where guests, and their dogs, can enjoy the lawns and large porches. In addition, The Black Walnut also offers an “Experience the Biltmore” package (with special Biltmore Partner pricing).
The Inn on West Liberty (Savannah, GA)
Built in 1871, this beautiful 9-bedroom Italianette-style home has been part of Savannah, Georgia’s Historic Landmark District for over a century. The Inn on West Liberty offers exceptional pet-friendly lodging. They can accommodate 1 pet (each under 25 pounds) in the Pulaski Square Cottage, Telfair Garden Room, and the Wright Square Room. The Orchard Inn & Spa (Saluda, NC)
The Orchard Inn & Spa in Saluda, North Carolina welcomes dogs in their Twin Poplar Cottage only. They recommend that guests call ahead for availability. The Park on Main (Highlands, NC)
