Answer
There will be fewer individual agents. More involvement for “Zillow” type companies who sell on price and not service. Fewer agents who are concentrating on “Specializing in / on Specific Markets”. Bed & Breakfast Inns Specifically!
Question: What is the biggest problem the real estate industry needs to solve?
Answer:
Inflation & Interest Rates. Are the two biggest issues. Both of these decrease the market value of a property.
Question: What advice would you give buyers or sellers in this market?
Answer:
Sellers: treat your property as stock. Buy Low sale High. Buyers: Due to Covid 19 the United States market will continue to be strong for the next 4-5 years. Now is the time to take advantage of market.
Question: What are the most important things any seller can do to get top dollar for their home?
Answer:
The #1 issue is Wi-Fi Connection. Everyone is on Wi-Fi. this should be number own. Get rid of all the excess stuff. Antiques are great to look at but are terrible to sit on or sleep on. Have a TV in all rooms. Be safe and clean.
Question: How can buyers present the most attractive offer to sellers?
Answer:
Have a Pre-Approval letter in hand. Cut down on closing time. Have the property inspected but realize a property inspections is, in our opinion a must. However, this is for you information it is not a sellers to do list!
Question: What are the biggest mistakes you are seeing buyers and sellers making?
Answer:
Not using Online Travel Agents (OTAs). 35-55% of all travelers use OTAs. If you don’t, you lose an opportunity to book 35-55% of your market.
Question: What are the biggest myths or common misconceptions about real estate?
Answer:
It is a constant. The supply is limited. You can create no more real estate. This is the biggest mistake. Many folks do not believe this. This is, in my opinion, the biggest mistake.
